Leaders
of "Electric Power Industry of Serbia" from all over Serbia
participated in a two-day workshop "Changes and Leadership through PCM
Methodology".
About
twenty EPS leaders had the opportunity to improve their leadership and change
management skills, increase the team efficiency of employees, determine the way
for easier and faster decision-making and acquire other knowledge and skills
necessary for successful leadership.
The
workshop was held as part of the World Bank's project "Network for Women's
Empowerment in Sustainable Energy in Europe and Central Asia".
The
study results showed that female employees in Serbia, compared to men, are
underrepresented in leadership positions in energy companies with only about 20
percent of participation in management. As part of the Women's Empowerment
Project, the World Bank seeks to encourage and enable the employment of more
women in the energy sector in the countries of Europe and Central Asia, as well
as to increase their participation in the management of sustainable energy
companies.
