A new structure of the Executive Board in line with the Transformation Plan

Decision of the EPS JSC Supervisory Board

The Supervisory Board of Elektroprivreda Srbije JSC passed a decision on establishing a new structure of the company’s Executive Board, in accordance with the adopted Transformation Plan.
The new structure means the introduction of three new roles and units in the Executive Management Board: Investments and Development, IT and Digitalization, and Human Resources. Energy Portfolio Management shall have an important role in the new system and shall be under the competence of the Assistant General Manager David Žarković while corporate affairs shall be reorganized.
At the same time, the Supervisory Board appointed Mr. Aleksandar Jakovljević as Executive Director for Investments and Development. Given that the organizational prerequisites have been met, he will take his duty today, on July 1, 2024. As a mechanical engineer with many years of experience in EPS, Mr. Jakovljević has so far held the position of Director of the Department for Strategy, Business Planning and Regulatory Relations.
Organizational and procedural prerequisites for establishing the other two structural units within the Executive Board will be completed by August 15. At that time, the position of Executive Director for IT and Digitalization will be temporarily taken by Mr. Miodrag Bogdanović, the actual Director of the ICT Department, while Mr. Zoran Teofilović, Master of Computer Science with extensive management experience in the field of IT and business process improvement, was appointed to this position as of September 15, by the decision of the Supervisory Board.
Further, from August 15 until the appointment of the new Executive Director for Human Resources, this duty will be exercised by Ms. Hristina Radovanovic, the actual Director of the Department for Human Resources Management.

On May 31, the Assembly of Elektroprivreda Srbije adopted the Transformation Plan that defines changes in the organizational structure and improvement of operational and financial processes. With the support and active participation of employees, who are the greatest strength of EPS, the goal of the Transformation Plan will be fulfilled - a successful and profitable EPS.
