Joint Stock Company Elektroprivreda Srbije is
the recipient of a certificate of appreciation from the Paralympic Committee of
Serbia for the support it has been providing for years to the umbrella national
organization for sports for people with disabilities, thus playing a key role
in helping our athletes on their way to success.
At the ceremonial session of the Assembly of the
Paralympic Committee of Serbia, Zoran Mićović, committee chairman, presented a
certificate of appreciation to Radovan Stanić, executive director for electricity
supply of EPS JSC.
Traditionally, the best athletes were announced at the
session. Filip Graovac, winner of the gold medal in club swinging at the World
Championship in Paris, was declared the most successful athlete of the
Paralympic Committee of Serbia. Given that Graovac is currently at the World
Championship in Japan, Marina Vasković, athletic trainer, received the award
instead, and the award was presented by Radovan Stanić.
Our Paralympians have so far achieved outstanding
results at the previous Paralympic Games, as well as at the World and European
Championships, winning 56 gold medals, 53 silver and 57 bronze medals.
For decades, Elektroprivreda Srbije has been a
reliable partner in the development of science, sports, and culture, and we are
particularly proud of our cooperation with the Paralympic Committee of Serbia,
especially in the year in which the Paralympic Games are held in Paris.
