Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) is undergoing a transformation process that should provide a leading position, improve processes and business, with continued profitability and investments for our company to be the most desirable employer in the future - said Ms. Hristina Radovanović, Executive Director for EPS JSC Human Resources, at the 6th Congress on Human Resources Management.

She reminded that EPS is the greatest power company in Serbia and the region, of strategic importance for the state, because it ensures the energy security for citizens and the economy, and at the same time is the greatest employer with about 20,000 employees.

- The knowledge and experience that employees acquire and develop in EPS is unique in terms of size, importance and investment projects. Stability, expertise and commitment are the corporate values and foundations of our company. Today, human resources play a much more important role in the EPS than in the past. Among other things, we are developing our training center, because we want our employees to acquire all the best possible skills and knowledge, and the goal is to keep the highest quality and most valuable experts and to attract new ones - said Ms. Radovanović.

She pointed out that with the launch of the scholarship program for the best students of the technical faculties and a successful competition for engineers, the first results have already been achieved, and the plan is to continue in this way.

- We have defined key messages for students and young engineers. We provide stability in every sense of the word and offer knowledge they may not acquire elsewhere. That we communicated in the right way is confirmed by a much greater number of both applied and employed engineers. Today, a member of the EPS team is a woman who got a PhD in mechanical engineering in Norway, regarding boiler plants, and she was only interested in when she could start working – explained the Executive Director for Human Resources.
