The largest hydro power plant in the system of Elektroprivreda
Srbije, Đerdap 1, fulfilled the plan of generation for this year, 30 days
before the end of the year. The plan envisages that six powerful generators produce
5,421,000 MWh in 2024 and this goal was achieved in Đerdap 1 on 1 December.
This result was due to reliable operation of the units that underwent rehabilitation,
overhauls performed in a quality manner, employees’ dedication, as well as excellent
generation planning.
Danube is slightly increasing these days, and the
forecasted precipitation will contribute to good results.
From 5 August 1970, when the first unit was commissioned,
Đerdap 1 HPP has been recording excellent results. Our largest HPP on the
Danube has produced 298,237,682 MWh until today,
which is by 8.6 percent more than planned and represents a four-year energy
generation.
Generation plan is expected to be fulfilled in the
coming days by the second HPP on the Danube, Đerdap 2.
