Ten second-year
students of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade, who decided to
study at Power Systems Department, received the support of the "Electric
Power Industry of Serbia". For them, EPS has provided funding for tuition
fees, and the interest of academics in this course at ETF has increased
significantly since this year.
EPS is determined to
support the best students of technical faculties and a competition is underway
for scholarships for the 30 best students of the Faculty of Electrical
Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Mining and Geology. The
competition has also been announced for the employment of 19 engineers in the
branch of the "Thermal Power Plant Nikola Tesla" in Obrenovac. All
selected candidates will be given a permanent job, and the competition runs
until November 15.
- EPS is a company
where the most valuable students can build a professional career in the near
future, and the scholarship agreement implies the possibility of professional
practice, as well as the possibility of employment after graduation – they
point out in EPS. - The competition for the employment of engineers is important
for EPS because we would like professional, young and hardworking people to
become part of the largest and most valuable energy company in Serbia. We would
like such experts to contribute to the professionalization and modernization of
EPS and to participate in creating the future of the Serbian energy sector.
At the end of
October and the beginning of November, students of technical faculties had the
opportunity to talk to EPS experts at Job fairs at the Faculty of Mechanical
Engineering and get acquainted with the company's business, as well as the
challenges brought by new development projects. The engineers emphasized the
importance of practical learning and continuous professional development, which
EPS enables through internship and employment programs.
